FINCA LAS PRINSAS

La Palma

Finca Las Prinsas is a former avocado plantation on the edge of the village of La Punta on the Canary Island of La Palma. On the Finca we built our own house and two modern detached holiday homes for 2 people in classic Canarian style: Casa Alegría and Casa Afuera.

La Punta

The rural village of La Punta is centrally located on the sunny west coast of La Palma at an altitude of 550 metres above sea level. From Finca Las Prinsas you can walk to the village in 5 minutes for fresh bread rolls for breakfast or an honest meal on the terrace of one of the 4 restaurants.

Hiking

The extensive network of hiking trails on La Palma runs right past the Finca. Put on your hiking boots for a challenging day hike or walk to the edge of the old volcano in fifteen minutes and enjoy the panoramic view over the west coast of the island.

Energy-neutral

Finca Las Prinsas is energy-neutral and only uses renewable energy sources. All energy for the Finca is generated by an installation of solar panels on the edge of the site. In our sunny climate that seems only logical. The village of La Punta falls climatologically under the neighbouring Tazacorte, the village with the most hours of sunshine in Europe.
The water we use in both holiday homes and the gardens originates directly from a source in the mountain.
